PHOTOS: Banky W, Skales, Niyola Shoot New Video ‘Su Mo Mi’
The EME crew have shot the fourth consecutive video off their first ever compilation album ‘Empire State of Mind‘.
The song titled ‘Su mo mi’ features Banky W, Skales and Shaydee. The EME crew once again hooked up with Clarence Peters who shot the crew’s first video – ‘Baddest boy‘. It also features other EME acts Niyola and DJ Xclusive.
Banky posted pictures from the shoot on his Instagram page. Wizkid however doesn’t pop up in any of the photos, will he feature in the video? We anticipate!

Wizkid Collaborates with Young Jeezy, The Game and Maybach Music’s Wale And Kardinal Offishall
After collaborating with US rappers Young Jeezy, The Game and Maybach Music’s Wale, Nigerian pop singer Wizkid has recorded a duet with Canadian rapper and record producer Kardinal Offishall.
The rapper let the cat out of the bag via Twitter ‘Yup. In studio wit @wizkidayo over at deez Konvict studios…ooowweeeee…sounding like Magic doa..shout out to T-Mah’.
Kardinal Offishall is signed to Akon’s Konvict Music with distribution under KON Live. Wizkid is also signed on Konvict Music (as well as EME).
Offishall is set to release his fifth album, Mr. International in 2012.

WIZKID'S REACTION TO ALLEGED ANTI-D’BANJ POST
Young pop star, Ayodeji Balogun, otherwise known as Wizkid has responded to the story going round that he allegedly disrespected former Mo’hits singer, D’banj.
Earlier in the week, a post with Wizkid’s name and handle had gone viral on the micro blogging site, Twitter.
The post read ‘@iamdbanj baby when are you going to sing with kanye naw? I hate d way he’s using you as akpan*sad face* c psqaure chilling with rick ross haba’.
In his response, the obviously upset 22-year-old denied posting such and expressed shock at the way it was widely believed, *used to have a lot of respect for u guys but y’all just proved a bunch of fools run ur shit!..get ur facts … Don’t owe no1 nothing…Dbanj is a friend nd a big bro 2 me..nd I’m way toooooo grown to tweet that shit!…Get it!!..@wizkidayo tweeted.
Wizkid is currently on a North American tour with Banky W, Skales and fellow label mates.

TIWA SAVAGE AND WIZKID OFFICIALLY UNVEILED AS PEPSI AMBASSADORS
Tiwa Savage and EME’s Wizkid have been officially unveiled as ambassadors of popular soft drink Pepsi.
The unveiling which was held last night (Wednesday, July 11, 2012) at the Likwid Lounge had celebrities and fans of the singers, turn out to see them decorated.
An excited Tiwa in a chat with NET expressed gratitude at the decision of the brand to make her an ambassador adding that she has no idea why she was chosen but will add ‘a proper Naija flavour’ to the brand.
Celebrities who were in attendance included Eku Edewor, Kaffy, Vector, Tillaman, Dr Sid, Flowsick, Olisa Adibua, DJ Xclusive, Durella, Mo cheddah and a host of others.

BET AWARD WINNERS LIST 2012: WIZKID AND SARKODIE ‘BEST AFRICAN ACT’
Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has won the award for ‘Best International Act: Africa’ at the 2012 edition of the BET Awards!
The Nigerian pop act jointly won the award with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie at the awards ceremony taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on July 1, 2012.
The EME act and Sarkodie had faced tough competition from other nominees – Nigerian rapper Ice Prince, Kenyan Hip-Hop/R&B group Camp Mulla, South African singer Lira and French speaking Malian rapper Mokobe for the coveted Best African Act prize.

BANKY W TO LIFT OLYMPIC TORCH
Banky W has been chosen as one of the distinguished people to carry the 2012 Olympic Torch.
The EME boss will join three other distinguished entertainers including Steve Onu (Yaw), Funke Akindele, and football star, Kanu Nwankwo to lift the Torch in Coventry, U.K on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
This is the second time a Nigerian musician would be selected to feature in the ceremonial initiative. Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem was part of the Nigerians selected to carry the torch in 2001.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has confirmed he’s joining Tiwa Savage as brand ambassador for Pepsi.
The 21 year-old star singer, who returned last week from Beirut where he was shooting Pepsi commercials with Tiwa, says he’s having fun and working hard to make sure ‘doesn’t disappoint’.
Wizkid’s boss, Banky, interestingly, recently fronted a campaign for Coca Cola
