NUC storms Caritas University

An audit team led by Professor Dele Sanni of the National Universities Commission (NUC) visited Caritas University, Enugu, on Tuesday.

The five-man team visited the institution, one of the seven schools that had their licences seized recently, seeking information on the quality of staff, academic records, appointment of heads of departments, deans of faculties and admission of students.

The team further inspected the faculties, office buildings, laboratories, libraries, hostels and other structures to determine if the amenities were in line with NUC requirements

The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Onukwube, said the university was prepared to conform to NUC rules.
