MTN Project Fame West Africa has announced the audition dates for this year’s edition of the popular music talent show.
According to the producers, auditions for the 5th edition of the MTN-sponsored property will hold in Benin on June 8, proceeding to Calabar and Ibadan on June 9, Port Harcourt and Abuja on June 16, Lagos on June 22 & 23 and Ilorin on June 23.
According to the Director of the reality show, Mr Bayo Alawiye ‘we are yet to disclose on the prizes for this year but I think it will be the same as last year’.
The winner for last season MTN PF Miss Monica Ogah went home with N2.5m, a Toyota Rav 4 and a record deal while the runner up received N1.5m plus a Toyota car and the third bagged N1m and a car.
MTN Project Fame West Africa is a musical reality TV show where 15 contestants will battle for the best musical act in Africa within the period of 10 weeks.
Auditions are also holding in Sierra Leone on May 25 (today), Ghana May 26-27, and Morovia on June 1-2.
Monica Ogah, the winner of Season 4, recently released her debut singles ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Below’, and ‘I Wish Say’.
