Indeed less than 24hours after the news hit that Ice Prince has been nominated for a 2012 BET Awards in the Best International Act Africa category, the artist, via his label/PR team, announced he has now been added to the list of artists that will perform at the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend UK FREE Concert. Ice Prince will perform alongside artists like D’Banj, Jay-Z and Rihanna.
The Hackney weekender, the highlight of the London 2012 festival, will be held from June 23rd-24th, 2012 and features six stages with over 80 international and UK music acts performing. Great publicity and fun event for all involved.
Good look on Ice Prince, good look on Chocolate City and way to continue the momentum off the BET Awards nomination.
